Our overseas guest instructor, Keem Ooi (@keempossible_2) with 110K+ followers on Instagram, has captivated many with her gorgeous patterned cake designs.  She is making a Debut to teach in Singapore and ArtZ Baking & Culinary will be hosting her hands-on studio workshops in our cosy studio at Lavender.

 

Learning Points (from June workshops onwards):

  • Mix a sheet cake batter from scratch (Pair Work)
  • Creating & Piping artistic & intricate patterns on silicon sheets (Individual Work)
  • Preparing the main batter and Bake (Combination of Pair / Individual Work)
  • Fill Roll Cake with Vanilla Cream Cheese filling and fresh strawberries (Individual Work)
  • Techniques & Tips on how to roll Cake nicely with coaching & guidance from our instructor (Individual Work)
  • Brush Painting to enhance design (Individual Work)
  • Colour Coordinating Details (Individual Work)
  • Q&A Session

** Please note that both the cake & filling recipe for Keem’s Signature Roll Cake is different from her Signature Cheesecake & filling recipe.

Participants will bring home your own Roll Cake Creation, Recipe, Template and 1 free Silicon Baking Sheet.

Nice to have: Please bring along a Cooler Bag to bring your Roll Cake Creation home (29 cm L x 12 cm W x 9 cm H).

Bio Instructor Keem

Keem Ooi is a talented Artisan Baker & Baking Instructor who has dazzled social media users globally with her beautifully patterned cake designs and desserts.  Her Instagram account @keempossible_2, with 110K+ followers, gained prominence when her intricate hand-drawn cake designs, went viral.

Her online profile exhibits her diverse creations, from vintage floral designs to a recreation of cute characters and animals.  Keem has since been featured in several publications including New Straits Times.

Keem conducts baking workshops to teach her signature and gorgeous roll cakes and non-bake vanilla cheesecakes, besides taking some orders for her patterned cakes.

 

Registration Process

  1. Kindly confirm with Sharon via WhatsApp at +65-9688 2777 if there are still available seats for the workshop before proceeding with the online registration.
  2. Complete the registration online by clicking “Add to Cart”, followed by “View Cart”, then “Proceed to Checkout”. Complete your particulars & add remarks in the section “Order Notes (optional)” eg Workshop Date / Time (if more than 1 option is available), Account Holder Name (if different from the name you registered for the class) and your Friend’s name & hp number if you are signing up for others.
  3. Please make Payment via Paynow / Paylah / Bank Transfer etc. with remarks during transfer your Name (if your account holder name is different from the name you registered for the class), Order number & Class Date.
  4. Important Step: Whatsapp Sharon at +6596882777 with a screenshot of payment receipt & Online Order # and advise participant’s mobile number (if you are making payment on behalf of others).
  5. Once payment & payment receipt has been sent, your booking is confirmed and we will reserve a seat(s) for you.
  6. Two days before the workshop, we will send out reminder WhatsApp messages, address, map, directions & a list of things to take note of to all paid participants.
