Overview
Thinking of making your own chocolate treats for your kids and loved ones rather than buying from the stores? Homemade chocolates make special gifts for any occasion and you control what goes into your chocolates. The opportunity is here to hone your skills to become a chocolatier & consider starting off your own chocolate business.
Dark Chocolate is believed to contain high levels of antioxidants. Some studies have suggested chocolate could lower cholesterol levels, reduce heart disease risk and improve brain function.
During this 6-hour++ chocolate making workshop, you will learn:
- Fundamentals & Theory on Chocolate Making
- Tempering Chocolate (Theory & Practical)
- Ganache-Making
- Techniques of Chocolate Coating / Mold Capping / Unmolding Chocolate
- Equipment/Tools for Chocolate Making
- Dark Chocolate Nut Truffle i.e. Hazelnut Truffle
- Milk Chocolate Bon Bon with Fruit Filling i.e. Passion Fruit Bon Bon
- Decorating Chocolates with Airbrush / Spray Gun Techniques (Chef Demo, followed by participants’ hands-on session)
Level: Beginner to Intermediate
Age Limit: 15 years & above
Learn from our talented and award-winning Pastry Chef Instructor who specialises in chocolate and pastries-making and has a wealth of experience conducting baking and pastries workshops.
To ensure that our students derive the most out of our culinary workshops, we are limiting the workshop intake to a small class size in a 1000 sq ft culinary studio, with safe distancing measures and online health declaration for safety precautions, to be completed 1 day before class.

Students will work individually and bring home their chocolate creations – some Hazelnut Truffles and 12 Passionfruit Bon Bon.

Chef Instructor Bio – Dexter:
Pastry Chef Lee graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Culinary Arts and Foodservice Management from the University of Toulouse, France. He chose Baking and Pastries as his career pursuit after identifying it as his calling, a platform where he could advance himself professionally, and add value to others in their baking journey at the same time.
Chef Lee took part in various competitions and won several awards from Food Hotel Malaysia in Remy and Linguine Category and Food Hotel Asia Dress the Cake where he was awarded Silver and Bronze respectively. In addition, he was also awarded the Best Pastry Showpiece in Singapore Bakery & Confectionery Championship 2017.
Chef Lee specializes in Chocolate and Gelato Making. He is expected to represent Singapore in the upcoming international pastry competition, Global Pastry Cup 2022. Chef Lee is also effectively trilingual in English, Mandarin & Behasa Malaysia.

Registration Process

- Complete the registration online by clicking “Add to Cart”, followed by “View Cart”, then “Proceed to Checkout”. Complete your particulars & add remarks in the section “Order Notes (optional)” eg Workshop Date / Time (if more than 1 option is available), Account Holder Name (if different from the name you registered for the class) and your Friend’s name & hp number if you are signing up for others.
- Please make Payment via Paynow / Paylah / Bank Transfer etc. with remarks during transfer your Name (if your account holder name is different from the name you registered for the class), Order number & Class Date.

- Once payment & payment receipt has been sent, your booking is confirmed and we will reserve a seat(s) for you.
- Two days before the workshop, we will send out reminder WhatsApp messages, address, map, directions & a list of things to take note of to all paid participants.
